Blueberry Almond Oatmeal

This quick breakfast is filling, and it has fiber, protein, healthy fat and fruit. It’s ready in under 5 minutes, so it’s perfect for a crazy weekday morning but delicious enough to enjoy on the weekend.

Blueberry Almond Oatmeal

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. water
  • salt
  • 1/3 c. frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp agave nectar

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, water and salt in microwave safe bowl.
  2. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  3. Stir. Then add frozen blueberries, and stir again, leaving a divet in the center, pushing the contents to the sides of the bowl.
  4. Microwave for another 30 seconds.
  5. Add almond butter and agave nectar.
